THE SOLAROLI FAMILY
God is closer than we think, he wants to reveal Himself to us and
know us intimately. And instead of wanting more OF us,
He wants more FOR us.
John is the Family Pastor at Calvary Fellowship. He moved from Boston to Florida in 1996 to work as a volunteer for a non-for profit organization dedicated to providing a home for runaway teens. At the conclusion of his commitment, he decided to stay in South Florida to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College and pursue ministry. There he met Pastor Bob, and in 2000 was asked to assist in planting the church in Miami Lakes. He went from volunteer to staff member to pastor. John enjoys spending his free time with his beautiful wife Carolina and their children Charlotte, Gwendolen and Evan.
My family and I are here in Cape Coral to plant a new church starting in the next few months. Many people believe that God is distant or that He wants so much from them.
But in reality, God is closer than we think, he wants to reveal Himself to us and know us intimately. And instead of wanting more OF us, He wants more FOR us. That is what FAITH GENERATION is all about, real people, doing real life, experiencing a real God, in real ways. We believe that the church should exist for people.
What We've Achieved
When I helped plant the church I am currently a part of, Calvary Fellowship, I always felt that it was a stepping stone to me personally launching a church. I had wanted to wait until Calvary Fellowship made it into its own building, That ended up taking 14 years. God used that time to prepare me in many ways.
I was single when Calvary Fellowship started. Since then, I met and married my wife and started our family, which was something I wanted to have as lead pastor. God also used that time to gain ministry experience and grow me as a pastor and leader.
Through my experiences God has clarified the vision of the church He would have me plant. Especially, now that I lead other leaders, God has given me the desire to step out to plant FAITH GENERATION church.
